Starston Jubilee Hall, which includes the Glebe Meadow, provides a village hall and a community meadow for the benefit of everyone in the village. It is a resource for the village, a place available to host private and community events.
Current (08/2025) hire hall charges are:
- Community use (Starston residents and associates) and Existing Regular Hirers: £5 an hour with no minimum charge and no daily rate
- Other users: £7.50 per hour with a minimum charge of £30, daily rate capped at £60
If hirers want to sell alcohol in the village hall they must give at least two weeks notice. ‘Sell’ alcohol includes giving alcoholic drinks within the purchase of a ticket. The organiser must be, at least, 18 years old, and it will cost £25, on top of the hire fee.
