Glebe Meadow offers a wonderful venue for many village activities and has hosted children’s sports and BBQ at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations, Companion Dog Shows in 2014 and 2015, Teddy Bears’ Picnic in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
It has also been used for other informal purposes at the request of Starston residents. The top end is kept mown by volunteers, along with the paths and Jubilee Orchard, while the remainder is left as a natural meadow and managed for hay cutting.
